The Challenge

Efficient Data Warehouse Migration Without Disruption

Stride is a for-profit education management organization, with over two decades of experience supporting 2 million students with online and hands-on curricula. Stride wanted to streamline its schools’ financial reports and unlock the ability to make insightful data-driven decisions, moving away from unwieldy Excel-based systems.

Stride needed a partner to orchestrate a seamless data warehouse migration from their legacy systems to a new integrated database and processing environment.

The Outcome

A Simple, Standardized, Modern Platform Delivering an Excellent User Experience

Sutherland worked with Stride to implement a smooth, seamless migration to a new processing environment and Oracle database instance. We leveraged Snowflake, Data Build Tool, Data Vault, and AWS, incrementally building the data warehouse platform with our agile delivery methodology.

Multi-user access to school operations, administrators, and teachers allowed for collaboration, with strong user authentication providing security. We improved user engagement with a customizable dashboard, enabling richer insights for strategic planning.

As a result of our partnership, information from K12’s data warehouse and other sources were migrated and transitioned to a more standardized, modern platform. The easy-to-use solution allowed users to create the reports they needed, improving autonomy and reducing dependence on technical teams.

A Centralized
User Management Solution

Starting by evaluating existing automation efforts, we leveraged our Sutherland RAPID model to re-evaluate our client’s use cases by replacing their existing RPA solution software with our end-to-end hyperautomation platform Robility. We used our Sutherland Robility platform to connect disparate systems across the business and deliver a more efficient workflow for our client. We created a one-window solution for all Claims First Notice of Loss (FNOL).

We utilized Robility's native OCR, RPA, workflow, AI/ML and digital command center components to increase speed-to-market and derive more value from use cases. The Robility hyperautomation platform centralized the user management solution across various applications. This allowed us to effectively manage user roles and application access management while dramatically increasing productivity and reducing overall cost of both licensing and operations.
